Telly on Telly: R.I.(Sweet)P.

It's been a good few months with this season's Project Runway designers. A memorable season indeed: the all-star guest judges (SJP, Cavalli, I hear Posh is judging the finals), firsts for menswear, prom dresses and wrestling wear, the constant model shifting (one week it's the girls, then a group of BOY models[!], then highschool girls, then newly-trimmed ex-fatties), and what I believe to be the greatest crop of talent the show has seen. Seriously, SO MANY of them are good! Nowhere near Season One when really the only exceptional ones were Jay and Kara Saun (oh, remember that ghastly Wendy Pepper? I loved her like no other!).

I mean, I guess they're comparable to the season two hopefuls, but maybe that's just because that was the most charismatic cast, with the BEST characters. I mean how can you ever beat Kara Janx, Zulema, the return of Daniel Franco (who, ps., I stood FIVE FEET away from at a music store last week), Dirty Diana and Guada-Loopy, not to mention the Gay Boys Club that was Santino, Andrae, Nick Verreos and my Love, Daniel V! In the immortal words of Michael Kors, "I'm a full-on Dan-Fan!"

But let's get real about what's happening here. We have some terribly talented designers churning out top quality work, one ridiculous challenge after another. And as far as I'm concerned these have been some of the most challenging challenges yet (I think my favorite was the hairstyle to avant-garde, avant-garde to mainstream challenge).

As for the final four: I love love love Jillian. She's adorable and talented and sweet and I think she has what it takes to win this show. Christian is a force to be reckoned with. The boy is supremely gifted. He has excellent skills, sharp and efficient skills, that have helped him to succeed in every challenge. There's no doubt in my mind that he will produce an outstanding collection for Fashion Week and he has potential to build a strong fashion empire. To be honest I have nothing to say about either Chris or Rami. I like them both. I don't really love them, but I like them and wish them well. (PS. Remember when Chris got kicked off already??)

The reunion episode airs next week and I can't wait to see Elisa and Kit! God I loved Kit. I remember during the prom episode they had this stupid texting poll during the commercial:
Who would you like to go to prom with?
A. Christian
B. Jillian
C. Kit
D. Rami
It's tough. They all bring something wonderful to the table. But I sincerely believe, right now, that I would have the best time - undoubtedly - with Miss Kit Pistol!
